A Brand New Networking Group
Join our serious(ish) networking group!
We love networking! But we love doing it on our own terms.
That’s why we set up Proper Good Networking. We will be meeting weekly, online and (soon) in person, but there is no pressure to join. Just turn up and make some Proper Good local connections.
Who are we?
We are based in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire area, and welcome visitors from across the North West – and beyond!
Our founder members are:
Beltin’ Marketing Wigan
Vicky is the founder of Beltin’ and decided that no self-respecting marketing agency should be without its own local networking group. With a career in journalism and some teaching experience, she loves helping people to upskill and making great business connections in the North West.
Utility Warehouse & Lola-Pops Children’s Clothing
Not content with one job, Debbie has two: she’s a local representative for home utilities company UW and helps people save money on their boring old bills, and she’s an expert seamstress who creates high-quality, eye-catching children’s clothing. Debbie loves to talk and is a great listener too!
Claire is a Senior Manager at Tropic Skincare – the vegan skincare brand. Claire loves the freedom her role gives her and enjoys hosting events, boosting her team’s performance and networking with like-minded businesswomen. She’s also the hostess with mostess and makes a great Sangria!
Not Just Travel
Julie has been working in travel for years and lived and worked abroad for many years as a holiday rep. She now books extra-special getaways for her clients and does all the hard work for them by researching the best breaks. Julie also runs fitness classes in the Billinge area so she really gets us moving!
Nazia Haque Wealth Management Ltd
Nazia is a whizz with wealth – she’s passionate about helping people to be financially independent. With a focus on the future, her financial services are personal and she makes long-lasting relationships with clients to steer them both through good times and more difficult periods. Nazia loves to pass on her wisdom and is a mindfulness guru!
When does the group meet?
Our sessions will be held via Zoom on Fridays from 21st May at 10.30am-11.30am.
We meet in person too – check out PGN Live to find our next event. We will be breaking for some school holidays as childcare and travel commitments usually keep us busy then!
How much is it to join?
There are many ways to network, and everyone wants to take their own direction. So we’ve come up with a choice of three ways to join our Proper Good Network… and your first session is FREE!
Red – £5
Dip your toe in. Come along for your second (or third, or fourth etc!) meeting for just £5. Pay as you go, miss a meeting, or come every week. It’s up to you. Remember, your first week is FREE!
Amber – £15
Buy four weeks’ worth of meetings for £15, and save a fiver. By going Amber, you’ll also lock out competitors in the same field as you. So if you’re an Amber plumber, you’ll be the only plumber in the room for four weeks.
Green – £40
Get a longer-term deal and sign up for 12 weeks’ of meetings for £40. That’s a HUGE saving of £20 compared to Red prices. You’ll also secure your exclusivity and be the only attendee in your field for those 12 weeks.
Want to register your interest?
If you’re up for coming along for your first free meeting, or want to buy a Red, Amber or Green ticket, please fill in the form below and we’ll be in touch!
For now, our meetings are held via Zoom but we are looking at face-to-face meetings once a month as soon as we’re able to organise that.
